Veinalotta Terentjeff, a FabRebel and nature lover living in Iso-Syöte, engages in outdoor activities year-round, both with her family and on her own. She knows from experience that high-quality outdoor clothing is invaluable on the slopes and Bike Park trails. The Art of Teared Snowboard Gear

Nearly a decade as a young snowboarding instructor in Finland and New Zealand took a heavy toll - on Veinalotta's gear! Carrying the board would tear through several pairs of pants and convenient patch materials would have been handy for quick repairs. "I wish I would’ve had FabPatch back then. It's so easy!" The needle-and-thread kit, a gift from mom was always at hand, although the quick fix sometimes looked more like modern art than a functional patch. "Those [self-sewn patches] didn't hold up very well," Veinalotta recalls. Now, it's easy to fix gear, and their lifespan is well extended, which is important to environmentally conscious Veinalotta.

Recycling and Customizing with Style 

A responsible lifestyle is close to Veinalotta's heart. "It feels bad to throw away a barely used garment." But thanks to FabPatch, that is no longer necessary. "In Syöte, children's clothes circulate among friends and families, and patched clothes are not embarrassing to pass on, as they have been repaired with FabPatch." "The patches are so nice looking that the repaired garment looks good," Veinalotta explains. Shooting Stars of the Dark 

In the Northern winter, reflective patch material is one of Veinalotta's favorites, as "it's now safer to walk in the dark with small children." Nowadays, both her own and her children's winter gear and other outerwear are enhanced with FabPatches made of reflective fabric whenever needed. They are great for adding extra visibility alongside official reflectors.

Veinalotta continues her active family life in nature at Syöte and is happy to share a piece of sustainable thinking with her friends.
