FabPatch’s Year of Repair 2025
If 2025 had to be summed up in one sentence, it would be this: repair reached a whole new level. It showed in the FabRebel community, in the awards we received, and in how repair culture spread beyond Finland’s borders.
Here’s FabPatch Oy’s 2025 recap – and at the same time, a thank you to every one of you who saved a favourite garment for one more round.
A favourite garment tore… and was saved in minutes
Many of us know that moment: a tear right in the middle of a favourite piece of clothing, a small sigh, and the thought “oh no, not this one.” In 2025, there were plenty of these moments again – but there were also plenty of repairs. It has been a joy to see how FabPatch™ repair patches have become that quick, easy, and quietly heroic solution for so many. Patch it, and life goes on.
Repair is no longer something you do because you have to – it’s increasingly a smart choice and a feel-good act.
Nearly 3 million patches sold
When you stop to think about what it really means that we’re close to selling 3 million patches, it feels pretty amazing:
-
3 million small rescue missions
-
3 million times a garment didn’t get pushed aside
-
3 million extensions of a garment’s life
That’s exactly the kind of repair culture we want to build.

Awarded in Finland and Australia – repair is global
2025 brought FabPatch recognition from two continents, and we’re incredibly proud of that:
-
In Finland, we won our category (Clothing and Wellbeing) in the Most Responsible Product in Finland 2026 competition.
-
In Australia and New Zealand, FabPatch received a GOLD award and an Editor’s Choice mention at the Clean + Conscious Awards 2025.
It’s wonderful to see that a Finnish repair innovation resonates on the other side of the world. Repair isn’t just a local trend – it’s a growing global way of doing things.
You gave us 4.7 stars – thank you for every piece of feedback
Awards are great, but honestly, the most meaningful recognition comes from you, our customers.
In 2025, customers rated FabPatch 4.7 stars. That means a lot to us. Thank you for every comment, message, development idea, and also for those “hey, this is awesome!” moments. They remind us why we do this. ❤
Nearly 300 people repairing together in Perth
One of the happiest and most inspiring moments of the year took place in Perth, Australia. An event brought together 298 people repairing at the same time – creating an unofficial Australian repair record. But the best part wasn’t the number, it was the atmosphere: repair became a shared celebration.
A big thank you to our Australian partners and everyone involved. This is exactly how repair culture grows – through people getting excited together.
Over 50 brands involved
Repair is an individual act, but repair culture is a collective effort. FabPatch patches have already been co-developed with more than 50 brand partners. The latest additions include 1000skis, Satisfy, and Craft.
When brands join in, repair becomes easier and more accessible for more people. Together, we’re building a world where repair is the default, not the exception.

FabPatch PRO for professionals – maintenance and repair without tools
In 2025, FabPatch PRO strengthened its position in professional use. PRO is designed especially for situations where gear must stay in use and repairs need to be fast:
-
service points
-
field repairs
-
workwear and technical gear
-
situations where sewing isn’t an option
Tool-free, fast, and reliable. That’s repair at its best – also for professionals.

Repair can look good – or be a badge of honour
2025 was also a celebration of visible repair. FabPatch designs were worn proudly on garments. Some wanted the patch to blend in, others wanted it to stand out – and both are equally right. Many of you put it beautifully: repair is a badge of honour. A sign that a garment matters and is cared for. This is especially visible in the Kaisa + Leka products.

Let’s keep repairing together
2025 was a big step forward – and it was made together.

Thank you for being part of making this such a great year for repair. In 2026, we continue – one patch at a time.
